Piano lessons

Weekly lessons for all ages and abilities, in Knowle or at your home, during term time.

Beginners

Students are encouraged to develop a range of skills so they can play in different styles: classical, jazz, blues, rock and pop. Reading, listening and playing by ear are taught together from the first lesson.

Intermediate and advanced

Lessons are also available for more advanced students who would like to study for graded exams, jazz, improvisation or songwriting.

Exams

Students who want to take exams are prepared for the ABRSM and Trinity College London piano grades. Exams are never compulsory.

Adults

Adults of any age can learn to play the piano. A slightly different approach to learning is needed, and adults make excellent students.
